After this long weekend I thought for sure the students were going to be off the wall, however, I was proven wrong. My monkeys were fantastic, we got through all our lessons.  During reading we discussed the importance of interesting information and important information.  We will be discussing what is fact and what are opinions in reading.  During writing we continued to write personal narratives working on show don't tell.  We looked at how to describe a small moment by hearing writers who have written small moments.  We are working on details to describe the small moment and will keep this going this week.  I loved teaching math today because the students were discovering how to measure using a nonstandard unit of measure.  We will be using them all week and will be getting into standard units next week.  Science was interesting because we reviewed nonliving and living things and reported about what our plants will be getting and not getting during our observation period.  Overall I was extremely proud of how well they behaved.  They even received a letter towards their bubble party.  Finally our day ended with Mike coming to have lunch bunch with us.  Glad everyone had a safe Spring Holiday!!!  Describe the best thing you did over the long weekend?

  1. Hi Ms.Wolfean "most ladybugs eat tiny bugs like
aphids or mites.A few ladybugs eat plants such
as beans or melons."Adult moths do not feed.. Rather, moth larvae are responsible for destroying clothing. They prefer animal-based fabrics. Moths may consume sweaters, coats, blankets, carpets, decorative items, comforters, pillows and toys. They prefer not to feed on synthetic fibers, but will consume blended and stained fabrics.JORDON E.
